Hello! I am so happy you stopped by to learn a little more about Dinner by Dee. My name is Danielle and I am the sole owner and cook. I have dreamed of owning this catering service for as long as I can remember. So, in 2021 I took a leap of faith (with much encouragement from family and friends) and made that dream my reality.
I grew up in Utica, NY with a large Italian-American population. Some of my happiest memories include being gathered with family and friends around a table of comfort food. There were so many mom & pop restaurants back then and I was always fascinated by the sense of community and friendship they provided. And the FOOD! Oh, I would be remiss not to mention the delicious, authentic meals I was fortunate enough to enjoy (and have done my best to recreate).
I have lived in Mount Olive with my husband since 2004. Our two oldest daughters are MOHS graduates and our two youngest still attend. We have met so many wonderful people in our twenty-plus years living here and I am thrilled to bring a taste of my hometown to you.
When you order from me, you are not only giving yourself a well deserved break from cooking but you are also sharing a delicious meal as part of my extended family. You can rest assured that while I’m preparing your meals, I am putting as much love into them as I do while cooking for my own family.
